You don’t want to be the bride who just goes to look.
The vendors at this show have over 30,000 weddings of experience between them. If used right, this show can save you several weeks worth of looking –AND– may save you money while you are at it.
There are three parts to the show:
- Preparation before the show
- Conversations at the show
- Follow up after the show
The more prepared you are to talk to the vendors the better your experience will be at the show. Visit the directory of vendors on the website. You can look to see who is there and who might be some of your top priority to talk to. If you can talk to some married couples about what they wish they would have done differently for their wedding. It is good to get a lot of different opinions. Someone who has been married a while will give you a more long-term perspective. Don’t leave them out.
Talk to everyone. Each vendor you talk to will give you good perspective – even if you don’t need or think you need the service. You may get great ideas you otherwise would not have had. Remember – the vendors at this show have more than 30,000 weddings of experience.
Don’t just ask about price. The wedding industry is full of all price levels. Many brides get lured in by a low price only to realize after it is too late that her choice was not a good one. Really look at what they offer and weigh all aspects of the service.
Make good notes as to who your favorite vendors were. You probably want to make an appointment or talk to your favorites soon after the show. If you don’t your day may be taken and you will have to find someone else.
The Big Ogden Wedding Show has been designed to help you make great choices. We hope you take advantage of the great knowledge at the show. The show is full of vendors who have your best interest in mind and want you to have the best wedding possible.
Good luck with all your plans!!
